Graduate School Announces 2021-2022 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Finalists
Tue, 01/11/2022 - 11:53amThe Graduate School proudly announced they have determined their 2021-2022 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) finalists:
3MT challenges graduate students from all disciplines to communicate their research in an engaging way to a non-specialist audience with only three minutes and one static visual slide. After competing remotely last year, graduate students here at UL Lafayette and across the country have returned to competing in-person.
Our finalists will each present in our final round of university-wide competition, and the overall winner will advance to the regional competition.

Congratulations to our finalists! We thank all our competitors for stepping up to the 3MT challenge, as well as our faculty judges for their time and participation.
Our finalists will compete on January 14th from 4-5pm in the Student Union at Bayou Bijou Theater and is being limited to a small audience in order to comply with the University COVID guidelines, but will also be livestreamed via Zoom. Our overall winner will represent UL Lafayette at the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools regional competition in the spring.
