In the LOGA Industry Report of Summer 2022, the EIL is highlighted as a key aspect in the major global energy transition. With many future energy systems still underdeveloped,the EIL’s improved use of petroleum, specifically natural gas as a transitional energy source, is what has kept Louisiana deemed the Energy State. The article emphasizes the work of the many centers within the Institute, and how all have created the leader of the pursuit in the development and acceleration of alternative green energy options, the Energy Institute of Louisiana.
