In the LOGA Industry Report of Summer 2022, the EIL is highlighted as a key aspect in the major global energy transition. With many future energy systems still underdeveloped,the EIL’s improved use of petroleum, specifically natural gas as a transitional energy source, is what has kept Louisiana deemed the Energy State.
