Industrial Water Treatment Technologies and Reuse

Water treatment and management systems provide clean process water, treat complex industrial and municipal effluents, and enable closed-loop water recycling across energy and manufacturing operations. By combining physical membrane filtration, chemical inhibitor dosing, biological treatment, and advanced oxidation, modern water systems reduce freshwater withdrawal, prevent equipment fouling and corrosion, and protect Louisiana's rivers, bayous, and coastal estuaries.

Key Pillars & Treatment Technologies

Water engineering and industrial treatment encompass three primary technological domains across Louisiana's industrial landscape:

01

Membrane Separation & Desalination

Utilizing Microfiltration (MF), Ultrafiltration (UF), Nanofiltration (NF), and Reverse Osmosis (RO) to remove suspended solids, dissolved salts, and inorganic ions for high-purity industrial boiler feed and cooling water.

02

Chemical Treatment & Inhibitor Management

Applying chemical coagulants, flocculants, biocides, and scale/corrosion inhibitors to mitigate mineral precipitation, biological fouling, and equipment degradation in recirculating water loops.

03

Biological Treatment & Advanced Oxidation

Employing aerobic/anaerobic bioreactors, Membrane Bioreactors (MBR), and electro-oxidation to breakdown dissolved organic compounds, toxic contaminants, and emerging impurities prior to discharge or beneficial reuse.
